Choose the right HEV, PHEV or EV manual
Kia’s Finnish catalogue lists Niro manuals by year and version, with separate Niro EV manuals. The technical source linked here is the US SG2 2024 hybrid and plug-in hybrid manual. It should not be used as instructions for a Niro EV or every Israeli vehicle.
You do not need to identify the key system yourself. Start with the version on the registration, a key photo and how the car starts. Include the vehicle’s original market if known so suitable information can be selected.
A physical remote and Digital Key are separate needs
The US SG2 2024 manual includes Digital Key 2 Touch, with separate phone and card topics. A chapter in that manual does not establish that the feature is fitted to your Niro or available in the Israeli market.
If you use it, explain which digital-access functions work and which remote functions work. Adding a physical key is a separate request from changing a phone account or access. Even if a phone unlocks the car, say whether a physical remote remains for normal use.

The US SG2 2024 battery chapter specifies CR2032 for the Smart Key described. Confirm the battery for your Niro against its actual key and vehicle instructions.
If another key also produces no response, report this alongside the display and locking status. It does not automatically identify the remote battery as the cause. Mention a recent drop, water exposure or battery change, and what changed afterwards.
A Niro spare for several drivers
With an available working remote, define the spare’s required functions. Include handle access or a particular tailgate function if fitted and used, so those operations can be checked and agreed.
After duplication, test the agreed operations with the vehicle and test the previous key too. Another driver should know which functions their spare includes. A shell that looks like the first remote does not establish a complete backup.
No available key: details that affect the visit
If all physical keys are lost, state exactly what remains available, if anything: a phone, card or another driver’s key. Add whether the Niro is locked and its location. Partial access should not be assumed to equal a complete spare.
